A little shed (hut? outhouse?) on its own in a field, long abandoned.
Old buildings, no longer worth maintaining and yet too much trouble to remove.
One standard barn bird, species uncertain (and irrelevant).
The debate on whether to put up more wind turbines will go on for a long time to come. There are many valid points on all sides of the debate, but one in particular- "the turbines spoil the appearance of the landscape"- doesn't quite cut the mustard when so many Ontario farms have a back lot full of rusty old junk.
This little hut starts out looking quaintly peaceful and idyllic against such a modern background.... alas, it is just an illusion, as the cabin's windows eventually reveal.
